Harmonia Music offers fun and educational workshops for all ages, as well as team-building sessions for corporate groups.

Full day (up to 4 hours teaching), or half-day (up to 2 hours teaching)

Boomwhackers

Colourful musical tubes. Age 4+, up to 100 tubes available! Groups of up to 35. (Up to 50 corporate)

Play simple tunes using colour coded music and add full harmonies even from age 4.

African Drumming

Ages 4-99, up to 40 people, all instruments provided. (Up to 50 corporate)

Workshops can also include story-telling, African clothing, and singing.

Sing Out!

Singing workshops for ages 4 to adult, no group size limit.

Part-singing, rounds, partner songs, themes, eras, school topic work.

Specialist workshops on playground games songs combine singing with movement and dance.

Samba Drumming

Age 7 to adult, up to 40 people, all instruments provided. (Up to 50 corporate)

Learn simple rhythms to build a vibrant samba band performance. Ideal for preparing for school fetes, village events.

Ocarinas

Bright plastic woodwind instruments suitable for age 6+.

Play melodies within minutes, and full harmonies within a single workshop. Up to 35 people.

Belleplates

Easy to use handbells, suitable for up to 15 players from age 4 to adult. Colour coded music allows for full arrangements from the very start.

Kirsty ran a fantastic interactive music workshop with djembe drumming and singing for our annual conference in Jan 2024. She managed the group of 44 exceptionally well in the early morning slot after the dinner the night before - despite this, there were smiles and enthusiasm all around. This was fun AND a genuine musical experience - it felt much more authentic than other (much more expensive!) corporate providers. Everyone had a great time - it was an energising way to start our day and everyone felt included and welcomed. We would strongly recommend her for a corporate event.

Bury St Edmunds County Upper School (GCSE group) Kirsty delivered a whole day workshop to 40 GCSE students as part of the delivery of the African music part of the course. After being given the course information in advance, Kirsty devised a fantastic programme that covered virtually every aspect of the African music: she even included a composing session, with student working in small groups, devising and notating their own African-inspired drum patterns. This was then followed up with performances and constructive feedback.
By the end of the day, the students had learnt and performed a 4 part African song (with movements, which the students particularly enjoyed!), learnt the basics of drumming technique, the context of African music and other African instruments, and learnt and performed confidently different sets of polyrhythms.
Kirsty's delivery of the workshop was fun, well paced and structured, and the students warmed to her sense of humour and enthusiasm.
The whole experience has been excellent - professional, reliable and efficient. We will definitely be booking Harmonia Music again!
